LOCATED IN MICHIGAN
The iconic design of the 1958 Corvette is one of reasons this C1 Vette remains so popular today. That unique “washboard-hood” plus the dual headlights and chrome trunk spears certainly chronicle those early times.
Yes, this Corvette has been frame-off restored to judging standards. It retains nearly all of its original components such as body panels, glass, bumpers, trim, fasteners, wheels, engine, transmission, differential, frame, etc.
The original engine (283c.i.) is rated at 230hp. It’s mated to an original 3-speed manual transmission.
Other features include: Auxiliary hardtop. Soft Top, AM Radio. Two-tone exterior paint. Only 756 Corvettes that year were painted Red with white coves.
The ride, handling, and performance give testimonial to the technology of those early Corvettes. It is great fun to drive.
