West Coast Classics are proud to presents a quite exceptional barn-fresh (garage really!) find of this rare 1983 Datsun 280ZX 2.8L Fuel Injected 6 cylinder OHC Coupe in the highly desirable rare 2 seat (not 2+2) coupe body-style!The Datsun 280Z was built between the years 1978-83 and was the latest incarnation of the 240/260Z with the 240Z having been voted by 'Sports Car International' the number two car on the list of the 'Top Sports Cars of the 1970's'! One of the most appealing Japanese cars ever produced, unfortunately they have largely disappeared from the roads almost entirely due to insurmountable rust issues of all the Japanese cars of this era making this last year model all the more rare and unusual in its rust free and mostly all original condition!The 260Z had a longer stroke of 2.6L from its predecessors and and this particular 1983 280ZX example is the 2 seat coupe version without the T-Tops, a notably different and more attractive roof-line from either the T-Top or the less desirable 2+2 models.This is a beautiful stock example with it's original engine and with all of it's original factory specifications and options intact including its original Red factory color paint and with its original Light Gray bucket seat interior!
