This 1958 Ford Custom 300 is powered by a 460ci V8 engine backed by
a C6 3-speed automatic transmission and a 9-inch posi-traction rear
end with 3.50 highway gears. Finished in a custom two-tone
basecoat/clearcoat scheme, the body, interior metal surfaces, frame
and undercarriage were all sandblasted and paint-matched in red and
gray. The engine bay features a custom aluminum radiator with an
overflow tank, a six-blade aluminum cooling fan, a color-matched
air cleaner, an upgraded wiring harness and custom spark plug
wires. Braking is provided by a front disc conversion with rear
drums and gas shocks are fitted at all four corners. A dual
Flowmaster exhaust system with ceramic-coated mufflers and
mandrel-bent pipes exits via polished chrome tips. The fully custom
interior was professionally crafted in British Columbia, Canada,
featuring new vinyl upholstery, new carpet, Soft-Ray glass, new
rubber seals and interior metal painted to match the exterior
theme. The trunk is also carpeted and color coordinated. This
Custom 300 rides on BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on Weld Pro
Lite polished aluminum wheels. Additional touches include a custom
aluminum grille, electric wipers and a heater. Spare parts,
including light covers, are included in the sale.
