This custom 1977 AMC Gremlin hatchback is powered by a 360ci V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, replacing the factory 4-cylinder during a frame-up restoration completed between 2020 and 2023. Additional upgrades include power steering, power brakes, dual exhaust and fully restored suspension and steering components. The exterior was refinished in the factory-correct Autumn Red Iridescent, complemented by new window trim, moldings and rechromed bumpers and trim. The interior retains the original Hot Scotch plaid fabric and features new carpet throughout, a set of auxiliary console-mounted gauges and restored factory air conditioning and heat systems adapted to the new V8 powertrain. Less than 500 miles have been driven since the restoration was completed.
