1929 Ford Model A Speedster. This is a great running car. It was formerly used in hill racing and has a 1939 transmission. The body was removed to lighten the car. It has great tires and brakes and runs very well. It is fast because it is so light. It has a teardrop back and fenders that are included with the sale (see pics). The teardrop and fenders bolt on if desired. The current configuration is with a lightweight aluminum body to reduce the weight for racing. It has a nice Weber carburetor and runs strong. If you are looking for a unique and fast Ford Model A, this is the car for you.
The car has a new 3036 Weber carburetor, a cast iron intake, and cast iron exhaust. It has a new aluminum radiator and a new 11 gallon aluminum gas tank (hidden under the aluminum body) with a gauge. The steering was rebuilt and it has a Bronze Easy Steer Kit, and the speedo has been rebuilt with a new cable. It has a 60 amp alternator and a 6-volt PerTronix Electronic Ignitor Module (electronic ignition). It has a shortened pitman arm. It has new brakes (including all 4 drums and backplates). It has an oil pressure and temperature gauge. It has a B motor which is stronger and has been rebuilt. It has a unique hand built shock system. I have a lot of the paperwork showing the work done on it. I have over $14,000 invested.
I really hate to sell the car, but I don't have time to drive it.
