an honest, largely original car that hasn't been over-restored or
tampered with. The body appears to be very straight and largely
original, a rarity on any Mopar of this era. The trunk pan was
replaced in the past, but that is the only known large sheet metal
repair. As with any unrestored car of this vintage, there are some
dings to be found, but nothing that detracts from the appeal. Make
no mistake-anyone would be proud to own this car! PAINT CONDITION
OVERVIEW: The car was repainted once in its original Metallic Green
Poly many years ago. As an older repaint, it shows imperfections
including scuffs, bubbles, and some solvent pop. It still presents
nicely overall, but it wears its age honestly, which is exactly
what you'd expect from an unrestored survivor. When looking at this
Satellite through the lens of a survivor car, and a driver, the
paint shows well! INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The green interior
is highly original and remarkably well preserved. Materials, trim,
and finishes show some natural aging but overall the interior is
both authentic and very presentable. This interior tells the story
of careful ownership rather than repeated restorations or hacky
repairs. It isn't perfect, but to be so original at this age is
impressive in and of itself! MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The 318ci V8
engine was recently rebuilt to bring the car back to running
condition after many years off the road. It starts, runs, and
drives as intended, but buyers should approach this as a
recommissioning project rather than a finished turnkey driver. The
engine runs smoothly, and fires up easily even when cold. The
3-speed automatic transmission shifts well, but you do have to be
careful when parking to make sure 'Park' has truly engaged. The
tires are old and should be replaced, and the exhaust system will
need attention. All of that being said, once the tires are
replaced, there are no known defects that would prevent you from
