The engine is fitted with an aluminum intake manifold, Holley finned aluminum valve covers and a Turbo-Jet 396/375hp air cleaner assembly, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission that sends power to a 12-bolt rear end. Exhaust flow is handled by Hedman headers. Chassis equipment includes factory-style power steering for improved drivability. Braking is handled by a power-assisted system with a booster, dual-reservoir master cylinder, upgraded brake proportioning valve and cleanly routed brake lines. The engine bay is restored with detailed paintwork on the firewall and inner fenders, along with organized wiring and plumbing throughout. The exterior retains factory-correct trim and appearance.
