This Ford Thunderbird custom convertible is powered by a 390ci
FE-series V8 engine topped with dual 4-barrel Holley carburetors
and paired with an automatic transmission. Treated to a
comprehensive restoration with performance and cosmetic upgrades,
it is finished in a light silver-blue paint and features excellent
bodywork, straight reflections and consistent panel gaps. The
chrome and stainless brightwork presents very well, and the car
rides on chrome Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels that complement the
classic look. A sports roadster-style tonneau cover and subtle
modern touches, including LED headlamps, further enhance its
presence. The fully restored and matching silver-blue interior
features bucket seats, a swing-away steering column, fluted-alloy
dash and console inserts, and amenities such as electric windows,
power steering, power brakes and an electrically operated
convertible top that stows beneath the rear-hinged trunk lid. The
engine bay is clean and detailed, with the dual-quad FE V8 dressed
for show, mirroring the factory Sports Roadster configuration. This
Thunderbird was restored to a very high standard a few years ago.
