This custom 1950 Cadillac Series 61 is powered by a 350ci V8 engine
paired with a fresh Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission,
backed by a 12-bolt rear end sourced from a 1978 Chevrolet C10. The
engine is equipped with Sanderson headers, a custom-made Mac's
radiator and dual exhaust, and the braking system has been updated
with front disc brakes, all-new brake lines and a master cylinder
and booster now mounted on the firewall. Steering is handled by an
aftermarket rack & pinion setup. The chassis features a lowered
stance achieved by cut coils in the front and new lower springs
with blocks in the rear. The older build was completed in British
Columbia, Canada, and the car is finished in red paint that shows
chips in areas, complemented by fresh chrome, OEM 1953 Cadillac
headlight rings and 1956 Cadillac Dagmar bumpers cut down to fit
the original turn-signal locations, with the turn signals now
integrated into the headlights. Rolling stock consists of Coker
tires on stock wheels with modified stock hubcaps. The interior
retains stock-style seats that were reupholstered in the 1990s,
along with new carpet, all-new gauges, a new tilt column and a
Genie shifter. Power windows have been added to the front doors,
while the rear windows are currently inoperative and are propped
closed.
