This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 custom pickup is powered by a 327ci
small-block Chevrolet V8 engine paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350
automatic transmission. The stock chassis has been updated with a
Mustang II front suspension featuring power rack & pinion steering,
along with a four-link rear suspension and a four-corner air-ride
system controlled by a paddle-style controller. Finished in House
of Kolor Brandywine using a basecoat/clearcoat paint process, the
truck rides on staggered Retro Bonneville-style wheels measuring 20
inches in front and 22 inches in the rear. Stopping is handled by
Wilwood disc brakes with 6-piston front calipers and 2-piston rear
calipers. The oak wood bed incorporates a relocated under-bed fuel
tank with a flush-mounted filler for a clean exterior presentation.
The interior is finished in Honey Glaze with tan perforated suede
accents and features a bolstered driver's seat, Bel Air-style
steering wheel, tilt steering column with column-mounted shifter
and aftermarket gauges. Additional interior details include custom
door panels, kick panels, tailored loop carpeting and fitted floor
mats.
