For Sale at Auction: 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo in Scottsdale, Arizona

This 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Slant Nose Targa is powered by a turbocharged flat-6 engine paired with a manual transmission. The engine and transmission have been professionally rebuilt with photographic documentation and invoices available. The turbocharging system includes a rebuilt K26 turbocharger reconstructed by BorgWarner in Germany using a sourced core and a new Genuine Porsche wastegate. Additional powertrain-related components replaced include a new factory muffler, heat exchangers, stainless-steel heater control valves with new hoses and all new clutch components. The chassis, suspension components, engine bay, inner wheel wells and floor pan were dry-ice-cleaned during restoration. Stopping is handled by factory Porsche braking components. Exterior features include factory Slant Nose bodywork with unique rear fender air-intake blades. All glass was removed during restoration, and the body shell, doors and lids were stripped to bare metal before refinishing. The body was prepared with Glasurit primer and sealer and refinished using Glasurit 22 Line single-stage paint in Porsche code A1, with a Glasurit Certificate of Authenticity supplied. The doors and lids were reinstalled and aligned, and the Targa top was rebuilt to factory condition. Interior features include replacement carpet sets for the interior and front trunk constructed from authentic German Sliverknit black material, the original Blaupunkt Reno radio with new Genuine Porsche speakers and grilles, original vinyl door panels, and new Genuine Porsche dashboard, knee pads, ashtray, glove box and air vents. Additional features include factory seat heating elements, replacement Genuine Porsche rubber seals throughout, a new Genuine Porsche windshield and extensive documentation detailing Slant Nose-specific components sourced from remaining Porsche factory inventory.
