This 1979 Chevrolet K10 custom pickup is powered by a 6.2-liter V8
engine with a 4L70 automatic transmission and NP241 transfer case.
The engine bay is modified to fit all GM original cooling
components to cool and perform with a high-quality GM performance
cooling system with 3600cf Spal cooling fans. Built by Drive Rodz &
Resto, this truck received a full frame-off build in 2024, with the
body stripped to bare metal and reworked before being finished in
RM basecoat/clearcoat Alpine White with copper accents. The
exterior is completed with all-new clear glass and a weatherstrip
kit from Precision. The chassis, finished in Satin Black,
incorporates new brake lines, fuel lines and body bushings, and
rides on 17-inch KMC wheels wrapped in 285/75 Toyo Open Country A/T
tires. Suspension components include a Rough Country 2.5 lift with
vertex coilovers. Sitting on a Chevrolet Performance chassis on a
modern GM four-wheel-drive chassis and GM HD axles with Yukon 3.73
gears, this K10 also features GM independent front suspension, ARC
Performance four-link rear suspension, a MagnaFlow dual exhaust
with Y-pipe crossover, new American Autowire wiring, a GM power
rack & pinion steering and an anti-roll bar. The underside is fully
Raptor-lined and sound-deadened. Inside, the custom interior is
wrapped in Nappa black leather with gray-tone plaid centers.
Amenities include a full DSP Audio Control system and a dash that
houses Dakota Digital RTX gauges and a Restomod Air climate-control
system. Stopping power is provided by GM 13-inch disc brakes all
around with an upgraded caliper. A custom stainless-steel tank from
Rick's Tanks delivers a vapor works fuel system powered by a FiTech
EFI System for reliable performance.
