1969 Chevrolet Chevelle L78 SS - 4-Speed Project This 1969 Chevelle
L78 4-speed is a rare, largely unmolested project that has been
sitting for over 30 years. It retains its build sheet, U14 SS gauge
package, and chambered exhaust, making it a highly desirable
big-block Chevelle. The car has been repainted but shows no obvious
bodywork. Floors and trunk are solid, with rust in the lower
quarters and fenders; rockers and door jambs are very solid, and
the doors close properly. The rear window channel needs repair but
is fixable. The numbers-matching Muncie M21 and rear end are still
with the car. The original engine is gone, but included is a
date-correct JD L78 block with many correct components: heads,
intake, Holley carb, starter, water pump, fan blade, distributor,
air cleaner, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, original shifter, and
more. Also included are NOS fenders (2) and an NOS quarter panel.
All original trim and T3 headlights are present and in good
condition. Interior components and gauges are original; the front
seat needs work and the rear seat is missing. A rare opportunity to
restore one of the most sought-after Chevelles-second only to the
LS6. Important Information - Please Read Before Inquiring Vehicle
