Here's a beautiful example of a timeless design finished in hard to find Lyon Blue with soft tan leather interior. This car was part of the seller's father's estate. Little is known about the history of the car and its restoration other than that the engine, a later model 59 block, was aquired from a local Fire Department's stock. The car presents as a strong #2 condition with very few cosmetic flaws anywhere and no known mechanical issues. The vehicle runs and drives as well as it looks.
The known flaws as as follows:
-Fuel gauge is not working
-Convertible top motor does not work. The top can be raised and lowered manually, one handed.
-The car has aftermarket directionals that don't work.
The period Holley 94 carburetor and oil bath air cleaner are included with the sale. The car is currently running a Vintage Auto Garage 6V alternator which charges the brand new battery. Both the original generator and carb are included but would need to be rebuilt.
The car is titled in Florida to the seller. The miles shown is currently just under 20,000. I drive the car weekly so it will change. I have no information as to the accuracy of the miles shown on the odometer, though the presentation of the car is that of a car with those miles.
A driving video will be included in the listing shortly. I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have. I'm open to offers and trades. Trades should be limited to running and driving FoMoCo products from 1965-1971.
