This 1967 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup, owned and driven by IMSA
champion Eric Curran, is powered by an iron-block 5.3-liter LS
engine fitted with a single 78mm turbocharger and configured for
E85 fuel, capable of sending 840hp to the rear wheels. The engine
is supported by triple 450 LPH in-tank fuel pumps, 160 lb/hr
injectors and Holley Terminator X Max engine management, with power
routed through a professionally built 4L80E automatic transmission
to a Mosser 12-bolt rear differential and a custom 3-inch
stainless-steel exhaust system. The factory chassis has been fully
boxed and fitted with a GSI air-ride suspension system front and
rear, including a replacement front clip with upper and lower
control arms, rack & pinion power steering and Wilwood four-wheel
disc brakes with drilled rotors, while the rear utilizes a
four-link suspension with adjustable airbags and shocks. The bed
has been raised and tubbed to accommodate 22-inch drag radial
tires. The body has been metal-finished and left in exposed bare
steel with a hand-brushed patina protected by a ceramic coating,
with the frame painted, wheel wells undercoated and exterior
modifications including shaved front and rear bumpers, shaved fuel
filler, antenna delete, billet door handles, LED lighting, Raceline
Fugitive 22-inch wheels and carbon-fiber bed close-off panels. The
cabin features a TMI interior with seats and door panels, a seating
position relocated four inches rearward, CPP steering column,
Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air climate control,
AccuAir suspension management, Bluetooth audio with speakers and
subwoofer, Dynamat sound insulation and exposed steel interior
surfaces consistent with the exterior finish.
