Nicknamed "Cooked," this Hogan-built custom 1972 Chevrolet K5
Blazer showcases modern craftsmanship blended seamlessly with
classic Chevrolet styling. Built on a fully spec'd Roadster Shop
RS4 chassis, this truck is powered by an 800hp Don Hardy-built LS3
engine that breathes through a polished 3-inch stainless-steel
exhaust. Every accessory surrounding the engine - brackets,
pulleys, hardware and accents - has been nickel-plated. The
exterior is finished in an elegant two-tone Sunset Pearl and Pearl
Beige laid over Arctic White. All brightwork, including the
bumpers, side trim, grille, beadlock rings and exterior hardware,
has also been painstakingly nickel-plated. Inside, the cabin has
been transformed into a premium space, wrapped primarily in German
Alcantara that elevates the interior beyond factory levels. Accents
of Beechwood-tone vinyl tie the interior aesthetic into the
exterior color palette. Audio was not overlooked: A RetroSound head
unit maintains the vintage look on the dash while powering a modern
system built around Hertz speakers, dual 10-inch subwoofers and a
1,200-watt amplifier. The truck rides on Mazzulla Offroad Enzo
wheels, CNC-machined from 6061 forged aluminum, paired with
aggressive 35-inch Toyo Open Country R/T tires. Every inch of this
Hogan-built 1972 K5 Blazer reflects the highest level of
craftsmanship.
