This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is powered by a fuel-injected
6.2-liter LS3 BluePrint Racing crate engine producing 530hp, paired
with a brand-new ITE 4L80E automatic transmission. Engine
management is handled by a Holley Terminator X system and includes
a 92mm throttle body, custom LS valve covers, ceramic-coated Summit
Racing manifolds and a 3-inch exhaust system. Cooling is managed by
an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, and the engine bay
features hidden air conditioning lines and wiring for a smooth
firewall appearance. Power is routed through a GM NP208 transfer
case to Dana front and rear axles via custom Tom Woods driveshafts.
The chassis is equipped with a 4-inch lift, all-new brake and fuel
lines, power steering with a new GM steering box, power disc brakes
with a 9-inch power brake booster and a CVF black powder-coated
Front Runner serpentine system. A new aluminum fuel tank was
installed. The interior features custom-matched seating and wrapped
door panels, Classic Instruments stainless-steel gauges, a chrome
tilt steering column and a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo with Kicker
speakers. Vintage Air climate control is fitted, and all-new smoked
glass was installed throughout. The rear hatch operates via custom
hydraulic rams. The body and frame were sandblasted to bare metal
before refinishing. The exterior is finished in Lithium Gray with
white two-tone accents, while the underside is coated in Lithium
Gray LizardSkin for durability and sound control. All trim, chrome
and sills are new. The build was completed in 2022.
