INTRODUCTION: Restored to factory condition, detailed motor
compartment and underside right down to assembly line markings.
Documented with Marti Report and buck tag. Factory colors, correct
codes and dates on the motor, trans and rear. The Boss 302 was an
instant automotive legend. Sporty looks, upgraded performance and
scarcity made it highly desirable when new and even more so today.
Built for Trans Am racing, it successfully stole the championship
title from Chevy. Of course it featured a performance built motor
but what good is that if the car couldn't put it effectively to the
pavement. Each car came with a 4-speed, upgraded handling, brakes,
exhaust, wheels and tires. There were several sporty appearance
upgrades too.
EXTERIOR: The fastback looks are killer and the Boss option
elevated it even more! The paint is over 20 years old and in my
opinion it's show quality. I also believe it has clean metal that
is absolutely straight with no signs of rust or damage. It fits
very nicely, the panels look original and the front fender lips
are rolled which was on Boss 302s only. Repainted its original
Grabber Yellow and it is polished smooth and glossy. It also has
the correct reflective stripes on the sides, flat black stripes on
the hood, trunk and tail panel. Dressed to the nines with spoilers,
louvers, racing mirrors and of course the shaker hood with racing
pins. The chrome is sparkling, the weatherstrips and windshield
were replaced. It's sitting on 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in
reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires.
INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car and it has a very nice, unabused
interior that I believe a good portion is still original. Down on
the floor the carpets have been replaced, it has pony floor mats, a
full set of seat belts and the Hurst T-handle 4-speed sticking out
of the hump. The dash area appears to be all original and in very
good shape including the optional tachometer and AM 8-track stereo.
The door panels and armrests are in excellent shape, the door
speakers are correct with the 8-track stereo. The seats have very
good upholstery, headliner and visors are looking real good too.
The interior lights works, the owner's manual and sales brochure
are included.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This motor compartment is detailed back to its
factory original condition! At the heart of it is the high revving
Boss 302 motor rated at 290 horsepower but most can agree it was
closer to 400! Factory features include solid lifters, Cleveland
heads, aluminum intake and a Holley carb. They came dressed up with
finned aluminum valve covers and on top of this one is the ram air
shaker hood scoop assembly which is even complete with the heat
riser assembly. Other features include power steering and power
brakes. All of the components look clean and proper. It is detailed
with reproduction hoses, clamps, spark plug wires and an Auto Lite
battery topper. It's complete with the rev limiter, Ford washer
bottle, horns, the right stickers and tags including the buck tag.
It is clean metal that was neatly painted and looking sharp.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is clean and complete, under the trunk lid is
painted real nicely and has the stickers and prop rod. Inside is
solid original metal with a reproduction mat, space saver spare
tire and jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: It's been concourse restored underneath, meaning it is
restored to factory condition. Being a Boss 302 it has the
competition suspension which includes staggered rear shocks and
quick ratio steering box among other things. The suspension and
steering has been rebuilt and detailed. The Boss also has disc
brakes in front, drum in back. The brake system was restored,
complete with replaced lines and e-brake cables. The fuel system
was replaced, including the tank. It has the factory type dual
exhaust with turn down tail pipes. Looking up at the motor it is
clean with stock components. It also has its correct wide ratio
4-speed transmission with proper date and the tag is still
attached. The drive shaft leads back to its original 9 inch rear
with 3.50 gears, proper dates and original tag. It's all painted in
the proper finishes including primered floors, it even has assembly
line markings throughout.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: In summary the Boss 302 is a highly desirable and
collectable muscle car. This one is impressive being so correct,
detailed, documented and I believe it to be a 57,778 mile car. I've
been wanting to buy a Boss and have passed on several nice ones
over the last year, this one finally met my standards. I think it's
exceptional!

to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
