The custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer CST Highlander has undergone a
complete frame-off restoration and is powered by a 6.0L LS2 V8
engine paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission and an NP203
transfer case for four-wheel-drive capability. The engine is
supported by a new aluminum radiator, a full stainless steel
exhaust system and a new fuel cell to ensure consistent performance
and reliability. The exterior has been refinished and equipped with
all-new trim and badging, and the vehicle rides on 20-inch Detroit
Steel wheels fitted with new BFG Mud-Terrain tires. The frame has
been fully powder-coated for durability, and the suspension
incorporates Fox shocks with remote bypass reservoirs to provide
controlled on- and off-road handling characteristics. The interior
features a custom white cabin with houndstooth inserts,
complemented by factory air conditioning, push-button start, a
custom sound system and a roll bar. As a true CST Highlander, it
retains its correct equipment and configuration while integrating
modern mechanical and interior upgrades for improved functionality.
