This custom 1971 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a built 350ci V8
engine featuring ported and polished heads, roller rockers, a
performance camshaft, headers and a spark plug wire loom, with the
engine compartment otherwise appearing factory-correct. Power is
delivered through a Turbo 350 transmission converted to a
competition 3-speed with a full manual valve body and 3,000 stall.
The 12-bolt rear end was rebuilt with premium materials and tight
clearances, and all-new urethane bushings were installed
throughout. The bodywork is done in lead and custom pinstriping by
master striper Mitch Kim, and the car rides on 15-inch Weld Racing
wheels. The interior retains its original black and white
houndstooth seat inserts with wood-grain door and instrument panel
inserts, horseshoe console trim, the original steering wheel,
150-mph speedometer and an 8,000-rpm tachometer. The gauges were
recalibrated and reset to zero by the Clock Doc. Additional
features include a 10-disc CD changer in the trunk.
