This custom 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air has just completed a frame-off
restoration with tasteful Resto-Mod upgrades throughout. The body
was expertly smoothed and finished in PPG Pitch Black with Leadfoot
Gray accents, accented by restored stainless trim and brightwork.
It has one-piece "California" bumpers front and rear, smoked gray
glass and power windows. Under the hood sits a supercharged LSA V8
engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and backed by a
Ford 9-inch rear end. The drivetrain is matched to a fully updated
powder-coated chassis that has been significantly upgraded with
coilover shocks front and rear, tubular control arms and a
four-link rear suspension. It rides on 18-inch front and 20-inch
rear American Racing Vintage Draft wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires.
Stopping power comes from a hydro-boost brake system and 13-inch
Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, the cabin is equipped with
front and rear Cadillac CTS-V seats have been retrofitted and
upholstered in black leather with gray Alcantara inserts and
diamond stitching. The dash houses Dakota Digital gauges, and
comfort is enhanced with Vintage Air climate control. Entertainment
is handled by a RetroSound stereo system.
