Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1979 Trans Am which is in beautiful overall condition with low actual miles of 43,124.  This TA was owned by the original owner from new until sometime in 2024.  Original owner kept meticulous condition of this TA as its mostly original and unrestored and still presents in show condition.  Current Ohio title shows the miles as actual and the car shows as a low mile well cared for TA.  This Trans Am features Factory original Mayan Red paint with original decals, a beautiful mostly original Red deluxe interior, and the original numbers matching 403 engine, see vin stamp photo.  This Trans Am is absolutely solid and has no visible rust anywhere around the car or under the car, and is very solid with great lines and gaps.  The underside is in very solid condition and was rust proofed when new.  This TA was treated to a dry ice treatment on the underside and is now in detailed show condition on the underside as well as the rest of the car.  Its believed that this TA has never had any body work done and is all original sheet metal.  This Trans Am is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Nocturne Blue (code 29) over Blue deluxe interior.  This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and found build sheet.  I drove this TA to numerous car shows this summer and earned a trophy at most of the shows entered.  Car drives very well and shows very well too for being mostly original and stock.

Exterior

The Red exterior is in fantastic mostly original condition.  This Trans Am has believed to be original Mayan Red paint and still shows very well with original decals and trim.  The paint is in great overall condition and there are no signs of visible rust or bubbling paint around the car.  There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos.  Tires have near full tread on them and the 15 x 8 inch snowflake wheels are in great shape with nice center caps and lug nuts.  The front bumper grills were replaced as was the front bumper nose emblem.  All weather stripping is in good shape including the window sweeps and the door and t top seals.  The trunk is very solid and clean with an original style trunk mat and jack and spare tire and t top bags.  The underside of this TA is in amazing shape and was treated to dry ice and shows very well now.  The underside is very solid with no rust patches or rust concerns and was rust proofed when new.

Interior

The Red deluxe cloth interior of this Trans Am is mostly stock and in excellent condition.  The original seat covers are in great overall shape and have no major wear or stains.  The original carpet is in great shape with no major stains, rips, or holes.  The original dash is in excellent condition and the dash bezel is like new as well.  The Stereo has been upgraded to a AM/FM digital Custom Autosound player which works and sounds great with new 6x9 speakers.  A Custom Autosound CD player was added and sits in the map pocket.  The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact.  The headliner is in good condition and the package tray was recently replaced and like new.  All interior lights and gauges work as they should including the clock and cig lighter.  The stereo, wipers, horn, rear defrost, and blower motor all work.  The power windows work nicely.

Mechanical

This Trans Am is in great mechanical condition with only 43,124 believed to be actual miles on the original 403 engine.  The transmission was serviced and shifts nicely.  Both front and rear shocks were added.  The exhaust has been upgraded to include Megnaflow mufflers which adds a nice rumble at idle and cruising speeds.  We have driven this TA numerous times on the streets and highways and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive.  In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well.  This Trans Am is a great driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great.  The brakes do not pull and stop as they should.  Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.  This is a factory non AC car which really cleans up the engine bay and adds to performance.
