This 1974 Volkswagen Kombi Deluxe Microbus is a custom re-creation
inspired by the Samba Type II and was comprehensively restored by
A&J Revival in Brazil. It is powered by a factory-original
1500cc air-cooled 4-cylinder engine rated at 65hp, backed by a
4-speed manual transmission. The drivetrain was fully reworked
during the restoration, and the suspension, steering and braking
systems were rebuilt using new genuine Volkswagen components. The
electrical system has been converted to a 12-volt configuration.
The exterior features a hand-restored body finished in original
Volkswagen Lotus White and Green Iguau two-tone paint, a large
retractable panoramic canvas sunroof, split windshield with dual
safari-style front openings, painted steel wheels with wide rims
and original VW German chrome hubcaps. Additional exterior
equipment includes front and rear luggage racks and a retractable
steel and wood ladder. The interior was completely refurbished and
features restored original seating with new foam and springs,
reupholstered in eco-friendly ivory white and beige vinyl leather
with standard VW stitching, along with matching door panels and
headliner. It is equipped with an exclusive Revival-brand steering
wheel and offers seating for nine passengers. This vehicle is
accompanied by an official certificate issued by Volkswagen do
Brasil verifying the chassis number, original color, year of
manufacture and technical specifications, and is signed by senior
Volkswagen do Brasil executives.
