Coniston GreenThis 2000 Land Rover Defender 90 is a prime example
of a low mileage Defender that defines Car Cave USA's Land Rovers.
Finished in classic Coniston Green (Land Rover Color Code LRC570)
with black accents and new black wheels with oversized mud terrain
tires, this six-passenger, left-hand drive Td5 was sourced directly
from the dry climate of Sicily, Italy. This vehicle was sold new on

drove it sparingly in a rural part of the island. It was imported
by Car Cave to our Aiken, South Carolina showroom, where it
underwent a full mechanical and cosmetic review by our in-house

an extensive round of mechanical servicing and off-road upgrades to
bring it to a highly refined and capable standard. Mechanically,
the vehicle received a full inspection, fluid servicing, and a few
hundred miles of test drives, with replacements including the
alternator, battery, valve cover gasket, air and fuel filters, fan
clutch, glow plug harness, and removal of intake for cleaning (with
new gaskets installed). The turbocharger was also replaced due to a
sticking wastegate, restoring proper boost functionality. Further
work included a new brake booster, HD steering rods, a wiper
switch, fog light switch, rear suspension ball joint, lighting
refresh, and dent repair. A Terrafirma 2' medium-load lift kit was
installed along with a steering damper and extended brake lines,
followed by a professional alignment. The Defender now rides on new
black 16x8 steel wheels with LT285/75R16 Kelly Safari Mud tires,
giving it a more aggressive off-road stance. Aesthetic enhancements
include a new front bumper, grille, headlamp bezel kit, and rock
sliders, rounding out a well-sorted and visually striking
build.Interior and Exterior DetailsThe interior has been well-kept
and original which shows the limited wear over time. The seating
layout includes two front bucket seats, a middle cubby box (center
console) and two rear bench seats with seat belts, accommodating
six passengers total. The cabin also features sliding rear windows,
Alpine glass, and aftermarket stereo.Exterior features include
original paint, wingtop silver chequere plate, and black fender
flares. The front end was freshened up with new grills, headlamp
bezels, and front bumper. The stance looks superb with the 2' lift
kit, larger Kelly Safari Mud Terrain tires mounted on new 16' steel
wheels, and rock sliders.Key Features and Equipment2.5L Td5 Turbo
