This custom 1962 Chevrolet Impala received a complete frame-off
restoration completed between 2012 and 2015, with fewer than 1,000
miles added since completion. Power is supplied by a 383ci
blueprinted stroker V8 engine featuring a four-bolt main block,
roller camshaft, aluminum cylinder heads, serpentine belt drive,
aluminum valve covers and an EZ-EFI fuel injection system, paired
with a 200R4 automatic transmission with overdrive that sends power
to a 3.73 posi-traction rear end. Jet-coated headers feed a custom
exhaust system that exits ahead of the rear wheels, and cooling is
handled by an aluminum radiator. The chassis is equipped with a
Ridetech air suspension system with a trunk-mounted 5-gallon Airpod
tank, along with a four-link rear suspension, tubular control arms,
front and rear sway bars, and Ridetech-Fox shocks, providing
adjustable ride height. Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with
stainless-steel lines are fitted, and the fully painted
undercarriage reflects the same level of detail as the exterior.
The exterior is finished in Electric Blue Metallic with a white
roof and features tight panel gaps and high-quality paint,
complemented by Billet Specialties wheels measuring 19 inches in
front and 20 inches in the rear. The interior is trimmed in blue
and white two-tone vinyl and includes power windows, power locks,
Vintage Air climate control, an Ididit tilt steering column,
AutoMeter gauges, and a refinished two-spoke steering wheel. A
custom center console houses a Pioneer audio system with backup
camera and dual cup holders.
