This 1963 Ford E-100 Econoline custom pickup received an extensive
mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment after being acquired by the
previous owner in 2018. Power is provided by a 4.0-liter
fuel-injected V6 engine sourced from a 1994 Ford Ranger and
installed in 2023, paired with a C3 3-speed automatic transmission.
Power is delivered to a rear axle sourced from a 2000 Ford Ranger
with 3.55:1 gearing. The truck rides on 15-inch six-spoke Eagle
Alloys wheels. A new wiring harness was installed during the
refurbishment. The exterior was taken down to bare metal and
refinished in two-tone Mandarin Orange and white, with restored
exterior hardware that includes updated tailgate hinges and
latches, while retaining classic Econoline features such as round
headlights, egg-crate surrounds, dual side mirrors and a functional
drop-down tailgate. The interior features refurbished tan vinyl
seating with matching upholstery on the console, headliner and rear
side panels, along with a dashboard and door panels refinished in
orange and white to match the exterior. Interior equipment includes
a heater, touchscreen audio system, aftermarket speakers, a 100-mph
speedometer and auxiliary gauges. Approximately $13,000 in
additional restoration work was performed by Wicked Fabrication in
Auburn, WA.
