The 2009 Honda Civic Si is part of the revered eighth generation
(8th Gen) of Civics, highly regarded by car enthusiasts as one of
the last "true" naturally aspirated performance Hondas. The 2009
model year marked a mid-cycle refresh for this generation,
introducing updated alloy wheel designs and minor aesthetic
updates. It was sold as both a sleek two-door coupe (FG2) and a
practical four-door sedan (FA5).Driving Dynamics & Features-
High-Revving i-VTEC: The K20Z3 engine utilizes Honda's famous
intelligent variable valve timing system. While it drives like a
standard commuter car at low revs, crossing the "VTEC crossover"
point at around 5,800 RPM radically changes the engine tone and
delivers a rush of power all the way to its 8,000 RPM redline.-
Handling Hardware: Unlike standard Civics, the Si comes
factory-equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, stiffer stabilizer
bars, and a helical limited-slip differential (LSD). The LSD helps
pull the front-wheel-drive chassis cleanly out of tight corners by
maximizing tire traction.- Interior Layout: The cabin features
aggressive, deep-bolstered sport cloth seats with red Si
embroidery. It also boasts a distinctive two-tier dashboard layout
that positions a prominent analog tachometer directly behind the
steering wheel and a digital speedometer higher up near the
driver's line of sight.Part of our private collection since 2021,
this extremely low mileage Civic Si is now for sale with Duncan
