This is a very nice clean original panel 69 Chevelle SS convertible, done in very slick Tuxedo Black, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth with white painted side strip, new black convertible top with glass rear window, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original softray tint in excellent condition, all window and top stainless moldings are original in very good condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new door handles, new side view mirrors, hood louvers appear to be original in excellent condition, grill, headlight bezels and grill moldings are original in excellent condition, re-chromed front bumper, original SS emblems, new wheel well moldings, taillight bezels appear to have been replaced, original taillight lens, new tail panel moldings, rear bumper has also been re-chromed.
Black bucket seat console interior, original dash in very good condition, original dash pad in excellent condition, factory tach and gauge package - showing 47,549 miles, power top - top is new as well as pads and seals, new visors, factory AM radio which has been disconnected - updated with Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo mounted in glovebox with remote, tilt steering, deluxe 3 spoke sport wheel, door panels appear to be original in very good condition front and rear, front and rear seats have been reupholstered, front and rear seat belts, original center console and correct staple shifter, carpet is in excellent condition, floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have a era correct 396 built to approximately 375 horse, aluminum intake, correct dual feed Holley carb with electric choke, updated with electronic ignition, chrome valve covers and breather, updated with serpentine pulley kit, high flow aluminum polished water pump, billet brackets and pulleys, high output chrome alternator, heavy duty radiator with correct 6 blade clutch fan and shroud, power steering, power front disc brakes, set of Hooker headers into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back, this strong running 396 is backed up with a 350 turbo trans, 12 bolt posi rear with 331 gear.
Rides on a set of factory appearing SS wheels, but has been updated with 15x8's all around and BF Goodrich TA Radials.
