This is a Roadster Salon Rinata resto-mod based on a clean 1974 chassis. For enhanced reliability, a freshly built 2.0 liter fuel injected engine was used as a replacement for the stock 1.6 liter carb version. This car was completed as an homage to a family member who passed away years ago. Very specific requirements and details were requested for this special project. Materials, features and performance have all been upgraded versus the stock original version of this model. Conceptually, no expense was spared to build the ultimate 1974 spider. The intention was to enhance the stock driving experience by improving the safety, convenience and appointments that limited the car when new. These changes helped create a luxurious environment for both driver and passenger alike.
This spider has essentially been in storage since completion---with test miles and a few short trips only on the odometer. Standard features include real burled walnut veneer dash, full leather interior, rack and pinion steering, enhanced braking/handling package, upgraded wheels and tires, upgraded modern ventilation system, custom exhaust, color coded custom gauges, and more. Over $5K in options were added to this premium build---including heated seats, power windows, keyless entry with alarm system, and JL audio premium sound with sub woofer.
