This custom 1947 Dodge WC flatbed pickup is powered by its original
230ci inline-6 engine, which was fully gone through, tightened,
tuned and fitted with new components as needed, paired with a
5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed rear end. Originally
purpose-built for WW2 veterans of Arlington, WA, it features a
custom flatbed with a rear hydraulic lift sized for wheelchair
access and a full-length double-sided log bench crafted by local
artisans for parade use. The truck received a complete restoration,
including a full repaint inside and out, conversion from 6V to 12V
electrical, rebuilt interior, restored original wheels and new
tires.
