This documented 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda, in its FC7 Plum Crazy with
white billboard stripes configuration, is powered by its
numbers-matching 383ci V8 engine rated at 300hp paired with an A833
4-speed manual transmission and a 3.23:1 Sure Grip 8.75-inch rear
end. Originally built October 7, 1970, at the Hamtramck, MI, plant,
it was delivered as a Canadian-export model finished in FC7 Plum
Crazy with V6W white billboard stripes and equipped with a
desirable factory option list that includes the A01 Light Package,
power brakes, bucket seats with console, sport hood, hood tie-down
pins, fender-mounted turn-signal indicators, drip rail and belt
moldings, Rallye wheels and an AM radio. Supported by a
comprehensive binder, it retains its original Build Sheet, Fender
Tag, registration history, import documentation and decades of
maintenance records, along with extensive receipts for mechanical
work and body/trim restoration, Canadian registrations and multiple
appraisals, including a 1992 evaluation verifying low mileage and
authenticity, plus a lifetime-warranty Walker muffler installed in
1995. A full restoration was completed in 1992, during which the
vehicle was refinished in red. Most major mechanical and interior
components are stated to remain original or correct to factory
specification, and the drivetrain is described as operating
smoothly, with the engine starting cleanly and the 4-speed shifting
as expected. Only 501 383ci 4-speed hardtops were produced for
1971.
