This 1946 Chevrolet 3100 pickup is powered by an upgraded 235ci
6-cylinder engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. It is
equipped with turn signals, modern air conditioning, a manual
choke, a fully restored bed floor complete with stainless-steel
rails, chrome exhaust tip and chrome fender-mounted turn-signal
indicators. The truck has an all-steel body that has been restored
back to factory original condition. The chrome and brightwork have
been carefully refurbished. It rides on correct body-matched steel
wheels with twin pinstripes and hubcaps mounted on Firestone
four-ply polyester cord wide whitewall tires. Even the matching
side-mounted spare tire is period-correct. The fully restored
interior features a reupholstered bench seat, as well as the
correct steering column and wheel complete with column-mounted
turn-signal indicator system. Under the hood, a detailed engine bay
houses the Blue Flame engine. The underside of this pickup is just
as clean as the top and retains the stock front end, as well as the
stock rear, and is equipped with factory-correct leaf springs.
