Built by licensed Eleanor builder Ikonic Concepts, this 1968 Ford
Mustang Licensed Eleanor 25th Anniversary Limited Edition was
issued "Gone in 60 Seconds" licensing to recognize the 25 years
since this iconic movie character thrilled audiences worldwide. It
is a certified Eleanor build, not just a "Tribute Edition." It has
a fresh professional rotisserie restoration, with only shakedown
miles, and almost every nut and bolt on this car is new. It has all
the movie-correct Eleanor body modifications and accessories,
including the Go-Baby-Go NOS switch and shifter knob. Under the
domed hood sits a freshly restored Ford big-block FE 428ci V8
engine, with aluminum heads and equipped with modern FI-Tech EFI
self-learning fuel injection and eight retro downdraft stacks. The
engine is so fresh it is still filled with break-in oil. The engine
is coupled to a Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission with a hydraulic
clutch and Hurst shifter. It exhales through ceramic headers and
2.5-inch exhaust that exits through the side rockers. It is also
equipped with remote control "exhaust cutouts," so the exhaust tone
can be varied, from full mufflers to wide-open headers. It is
cooled with a heavy-duty aluminum radiator. The suspension is
upgraded to four-link in the rear, a Ford 9-inch rear-end, front
and rear adjustable coilovers, sub-frame connectors, power steering
and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.
It was professionally finished in the correct Pepper Gray Metallic
two-stage exterior paint, rich black Rally body stripes and
drenched in clearcoat over the top. The underside of the fastback
conversion and the engine compartment are painted body color with
heavy coats of clear over the top, so they can be wiped down with
ease. The exterior body gaps and panel alignment are laser-straight
and the custom body modifications and side scoops were hand-fitted
for 90-degree seams. It features custom show-ready red LED ground
effect lighting, along with lighting in the engine and cabin areas.
It was fitted with a laser-cut backlit "Gone in 60 Seconds" emblem
between the rear taillights. It is equipped with two 12V batteries,
along with a USB port for in-cabin phone charging. This Eleanor
rolls on custom Eleanor-style wheels with performance tires. The
all-new deluxe interior features custom "Gone in 60 Seconds"
logo-embroidered seats and a custom center console with
stainless-steel billet trim on the dash and door panels. The cabin
area was completely treated with Dynamat sound-deadening material.
The rear area is equipped with a matching factory-style fold-down
seat with a non-operational NOS bottle located behind it. This car
also has a custom-painted roll bar with seatbelt harnesses. The
factory-style dash cluster is fitted with a retro-styled all new
modern Velocity gauges, a tilt-steering column, power windows,
power door locks and a custom wood-styled vintage steering wheel.
It is also equipped with ice-cold air conditioning and an electric
trunk release. Sound is provided by a RetroSound stereo with
Bluetooth connectivity. This limited-production "Gone in 60
Seconds" Special Edition 25th Anniversary Eleanor fastback
conversion had its dash signed by Chuck Picerni, who was the
original stunt coordinator for the 2000 movie production. It is
also documented with Eleanor certification paperwork, body VIN
plate and emblems issued by Gone in 60 Seconds LLC. It also
includes a full start-to-finish build book with over 150
restoration photos and a 30x40-inch professionally assembled "Gone
in 60 Seconds" framed presentation of the official movie poster,
along with authentically signed photos of lead cast members Nicolas
Cage and Angelina Jolie
