This custom 1972 Chevrolet El Camino EV is powered by two NetGain
HyPer9 electric motors producing 650 ft/lbs of torque at 9,000 rpm,
paired with a Torque Trends torque box sending power to the rear
differential. It features dual battery banks located under the hood
and in the bed, charged by two Thunderstruck 3.3-kW onboard units,
providing an estimated 150-mile range. The interior includes Dakota
Digital gauges, electric air conditioning, a custom-built center
console and a Bluetooth-equipped audio system. The exterior
features custom metalwork closing off the engine bay with a
polished aluminum motor cover, custom-mixed black paint with gold
flakes, a locking soft-style tonneau cover and 17-inch American
Racing VN510-series wheels with Goodyear Eagle tires. The chassis
has front and rear independent suspension with a Mustang II front
setup, a 1992 Ford Thunderbird rear end, electric power steering,
four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes and QA1 coilovers.
