This custom 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is powered by a
professionally built 383ci stroker V8 engine equipped with Wiseco
pistons, Callies rods and crank, COMP pushrods, roller lifters and
a custom cam, fed by dual Holley 850 carburetors. Cooling and
lubrication systems include a Holley Frostbite radiator, C&R
oil cooler and Holley intercooler to maintain consistent operating
temperatures. Power is delivered through a Tremec T56 6-speed
manual transmission paired with a Centerforce twin-disc clutch,
connected to a Dynotech driveshaft and a rear end fitted with 3.89
gearing and posi-traction. The chassis features a fully upgraded
suspension with tubular control arms, sway bars, subframe
connectors and rack & pinion steering for improved response.
Stopping is supplied by Wilwood disc brakes with 12- and 14-inch
drilled and slotted rotors and multi-piston calipers, with fluid
carried through stainless and braided lines. Electrical systems are
supported by high-quality wiring from American Auto and Painless
Wiring. The exterior, with added Z/28 badging, retains the original
body, panels and floors without patches or replacements. It is
finished in House of Kolor yellow PPG paint with black striping and
protected by R&M clearcoat, with nearly all exterior components
replaced, including the glass, trim, bumpers, fenders, inner
fenders and weatherstripping. Additional features include LED
daytime running lights, LED headlights and taillights, split-bumper
conversions, custom front and rear spoilers, and carbon-fiber
vented hoods. The interior is equipped with Recaro seating,
extensive sound-deadening material, AutoMeter instrumentation,
Vintage Air climate control, RetroSound audio with Bluetooth
capability, power windows, power door locks and a black headliner.
