This custom 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air bubble top, known as "Radical
Flyer," is powered by a Fresh Extreme Automotive Engines
professionally built 468ci V8 engine producing high horsepower and
equipped with dual Edelbrock 600-cfm carburetors and a B&M
supercharger, paired with a rebuilt high-performance Turbo 400
automatic transmission featuring a reverse manual valve body and a
3500-rpm stall converter. The exhaust system is a custom dual
setup, and the chassis is a full custom build completed by John's
Racecraft in Brockton, MA, incorporating a four-link rear end with
4.30 gears, power steering, power brakes, four-wheel disc brakes
and Mark Williams axles. The exterior is finished in custom Ferrari
Red as part of the frame-off restoration, and the vehicle rides on
a custom wheel setup with Chevrolet crossed-flags center caps. The
interior features restored leather upholstery with custom ostrich
inserts, along with a Sony stereo system equipped with amplifiers,
speakers and a Pioneer equalizer and tuner. This vehicle has been
featured in Super Chevy magazine.
