This dark blue 1965 Ford Mustang custom fastback is powered by a
363ci small-block V8 engine rated at 500hp and 450 ft/lbs of
torque, featuring an aluminum American Powertrain bellhousing with
a hydraulic clutch release bearing and a McLeod Super Street Pro
clutch kit with 10-inch spline, delivering power through a Ford
9-inch posi-traction rear with a Quick Performance 31-spline third
member and 3.70 gears. Built to handle the power, the rear has been
mini-tubbed to fit Enkei EKM3 gunmetal wheels wrapped in Michelin
tires, while stopping is handled by a complete Wilwood disc brake
system with stainless-steel lines. Cooling is upgraded with an
oversized aluminum radiator, electric fan and overflow tank, and
the exhaust system features headers with custom-fit piping, a
crossover kit and Flowmaster mufflers. Steering and drivability are
enhanced with a Borgeson power steering box, power steering pump
and reservoir tank, along with a Mark 4 Supreme steering wheel,
Mustang Plus steering column, and new control arms and shock
towers. The underside has been professionally undercoated,
including the floors and trunk, and the interior features custom
upholstery plus custom brackets for the stereo and additional
components. Electrical upgrades include a 100-amp alternator,
all-new wiring and a distribution fuse box relocated to the former
glovebox area. Comfort comes from a complete TruMod
air-conditioning system with compressor and a custom audio setup
with Rockford Fosgate 6x9 and 3.5 speakers. This Mustang has been
driven 1,353 miles since the build was completed.
