This two-wheel-drive 1966 Ford F-100 custom crew-cab pickup is
powered by an upgraded FE series 428ci V8 engine mated to a C6
automatic transmission with a 9-inch rear end. Finished in 2015,
this truck underwent a full frame-off restoration. Chassis and
components have been powder-coated in semi-gloss finish. It is
equipped with DJM lowering suspension with 1976 Ford F-150 spindles
up front for disc brakes, giving the ability to service with
factory parts. The engine was rebuilt by Larry Payne and has
approximately 500 miles on it. The C6 transmission was built by
Transmission Solutions in Eugene, OR. This truck has a custom
2.75-inch exhaust with 50 Series FlowMaster muffler and a Gaylords
tonneau cover. The custom side trim molding for this truck was made
in North Carolina, while the chrome work came from McKenzie Chrome
in Springfield, OR. It is one of approximately 2,500 trucks
converted by Crown Coach in Canada for the Ford Motor Company.
