This 1974 Ford Econoline "Mystery Machine" re-creation is powered
by a 302ci V8 engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Previously brown, it was customized under prior ownership with a
full repaint in blue, a roof vent and an RV-style rear cargo
window. The van currently wears full Scooby-Doo "Mystery Machine"
livery applied by Beaver Stripes. Under current ownership,
extensive service has been completed, including overhaul of the
power steering pump and replacement of the brake master cylinder,
valve stem seals, timing chain, water pump, oil pan gasket,
radiator, starter, accessory belts, rear axle bearings and
driveshaft U-joints. Recent work by Modena Motorsports added an
Edelbrock electric fuel pump, all-new fuel lines, brake lines,
water pump and coolant system. The van features chrome moldings and
bumpers, a sliding rear passenger door, adjustable Western-style
mirrors and 15-inch Cragar S/S wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial
T/A tires. The interior includes dual captain's chairs trimmed in
blue and gray cloth, a custom wood console, Kenwood/Pioneer audio,
thick-pile carpeting, wood paneling, a folding rear bench and an
ice box. The engine remains accessible via the removable doghouse.
Scooby-Doo merchandise and life-size character cutouts are included
with the sale. 81,378 miles (title reads exempt).
