The 2008 Ford F-150 custom pickup is a one-off Chip Foose SuperCrew
build powered by a Roush-supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine upgraded
to produce approximately 500hp. It retains its factory
electronically controlled automatic transmission paired with the
modified powertrain. The exhaust system is integrated into a
CAD-designed rear exit built into the custom roll pan engineered
for uniform ground contact when aired out. Chassis and suspension
modifications include a fully reengineered structure supporting an
AccuAir e-Level air management system operating a rear cantilever
six-link suspension and custom front control-arm suspension,
enabling the truck to lay out completely while maintaining
functional travel. The cantilever system provides over 7 inches of
usable suspension travel, and more than 800 professional
fabrication hours were invested in the chassis and body
modifications. Braking performance is delivered by 16-inch Wilwood
6-piston brakes installed at all four corners. Exterior features
include Metallic Gunmetal Gray paint finished with a satin
clearcoat, and a reshaped bed floor designed to clear the oversized
405/25/24 rear tires and cantilever components when fully aired
out. The custom roll pan incorporates the CAD-designed exhaust tip
and supports the engineered body-drop capability. Interior
equipment consists of the original Ford/Chip Foose black leather
seating with bucket seats and center console, a rear folding bench
and the original factory stereo. All power accessories function as
intended, and the truck passes Arizona emissions testing.
Additional attributes include the comprehensive fabrication work
throughout the chassis and body, the engineered air-suspension
architecture and the upgraded forced-induction powertrain.
