This 1954 Chevrolet 3100 5-window custom pickup is powered by a
Cummins 4BT 3.9-liter turbo-diesel engine paired with a
custom-built 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission. Originally a
Texas ranch truck, it retains its authentic, buffed-and-sealed
patina yellow exterior. The diesel conversion was professionally
executed using Advanced Adapters components, including the
Cummins-to-700R4 interface and flywheel, and the chassis was
modified to accept the drivetrain. An aluminum radiator with an
electric fan manages cooling. Performance was significantly
upgraded in 2018 with a Scott's Hot Rods independent front
suspension, adjustable coilovers, rack & pinion steering, and
Wilwood 4-piston front disc brakes, with new OE components in the
rear. A 3-inch drop and custom pulley-type wheels give it a proper
stance. Additional enhancements include oil-filled engine mounts
and a methanol injection system for reduced EGTs. The truck
received a complete modern rewire in 2023. Interior features
include a TMI bench seat, black upholstery, a hidden stereo system,
three-point belts and updated safety components. New chromed
bumpers, new bed wood and a hidden trailer hitch with lighting and
charging hookups complete the exterior. The truck was featured in
BangShift magazine in 2017. **SOLD AS A PAIR WITH LOT #515.2**
