A 1963 Corvette Roadster anyone can afford. An original creation by
Barry Toycraft under permission & license by Chevrolet. They
produced a limited number (said to be way less than 1200)
Fiberglass Kiddie Cars which Chevrolet Dealers sold, or gifted, to
the buyers of the 'new' Stingray Corvette. Some dealers even had
3-4 for a parking lot race. All were Riverside Red with Red
interiors and were powered by an electrical generator & battery
with real rubber tires and steel alloy wheels. Nearly all that
remain in existence are 'missing' the fiberglass bumpers, as they
were strictly for show. This one has them + a few extra. This
survivor has been in the Mount Dora Museum of Speed in Mt. Dora,
FL., where it hung from the ceiling in order to survive abuse by
any little hands. It retains most of it's original paint, tires,
upholstery, trim tag and even hood & dash decals. These are
documented by Vette Vues Magazine and many other Corvette sources
over the years. This particular car was purchased 30 years ago and
always kept in air conditioned display or storage and could very
well be One of The Best Original (we've ever seen) left. $11,500 or
best realistic offer. (352)217-9868 or [email protected]
