This custom 1987 Chevrolet V30 Silverado crew-cab pickup is powered by a 6.6-liter (L5P) Duramax diesel engine paired with an Allison 10L1000 10-speed automatic transmission. Dubbed the "K2020," the chassis is a 2020 Chevrolet 2500 HD platform powder-coated in Cheater Blue and equipped with a 4-inch Cognito lift kit with Fox 2.0 shocks, Cognito upper control arms and upgraded Cognito steering components. The body has been stretched 8.75 inches and integrated with the 2020 firewall and floor pan to accommodate the 2020 interior. The engine is upgraded with a Stealth 67 turbo, WC Fab piping kit and PPE up-pipes. The EGR system has been removed, and both the engine and transmission have been tuned for performance. Other equipment includes an Airdog 5G lift pump, AFE Power rear differential cover and a Jamo 5-inch polished stainless-steel exhaust. The exterior includes a stock short bed with a Real Truck LoPro QT bed cover, LED headlights and turn signals, Klearz LED sequential taillights and 2020 color-matched cab lights with white LEDs. Additional features include color-matched 2020 mirrors with switchback turn signals, a custom billet fender badge set, a custom lower front valance and a HornBlasters train horn kit featuring six horns, two compressors and a 20-gallon air tank. The truck rides on custom color-matched powder-coated 24x14-inch forged TIS wheels with billet floating center caps and 37x13.50R24 TIS tires. It also features FireWire LEDs rock lights, full ceramic window tint and AMP power steps. Paintwork was completed by the professionals at Railroad Customs. The cabin interior features a 2020 Chevrolet design with custom leather seat covers, fiberglass door panels and a custom headliner. Audio is provided by Triton and SKAR components. The cab interior and underside, along with the bed interior and underside, are coated with Scorpion Linings protective coating. The truck features color-matched moldings, handles and trim.
