Motorsports. Known as the Storm C7, this Corvette retains its Z51
chassis dynamics and adds a complete forged engine,
forced-induction, nitrous, methanol, and cooling overhaul designed
for extreme output. With only 14,000 original miles and tuned down
from 1,500 to about 1,400 wheel horsepower, this is a highly
developed, track-oriented yet street-capable C7 that has been
professionally built from end to end. Engine &
Internal ComponentsThe powertrain begins with a Bischoff Racing
Engines forged short block, based on a re-sleeved Gen V LT1 using
Darton 4.125" bore sleeves.It uses Wiseco pistons, Callies Ultra
rods, and a Callies Magnum crankshaft, built to a 10:1 compression
ratio. Cylinder heads feature WXM LT big valves for increased flow,
while valve control is handled by a WXM Armageddon Stage 4 camshaft
kit.A WXM G1Pro air-to-water intake feeds the engine, supported by
a WXM SPI Secondary Port Injection System for added fueling
capacity under high boost. Forced Induction SystemBoost is
generated by a WXM-modified F1X Procharger kit, running 25 PSI in
its current configuration.To keep charge temperatures under
control, the car uses a WXM Boost Freeze AC chiller system and a
WXM Track Attack heat exchanger, along with a Dewitt?s radiator for
upgraded cooling capacity. Exhaust SystemExhaust flow is
managed by a set of American Racing Headers, leading into a
