This custom 1961 Lincoln Continental is powered by a freshly
gone-through 5.3-liter LS engine paired with a 4L60E automatic
transmission. The engine was fully freshened with new bearings
throughout, fully machined heads and a Texas Speed Chopacabra LS
truck cam kit with pushrods, LS7 lifters and a high-volume oil
pump. It is managed by a modern Holley Terminator EFI system, with
the red-painted block matching the custom interior and dressed in a
satin black Holley intake, black Holley coil-hidden valve covers
and a black CVF Racing pulley system. A new fuel system
incorporates a Devious Customs aluminum fuel cell, while a new
aluminum radiator with dual fans keeps things running cool.
Additional mechanical upgrades include a Coffin Muffler dual
exhaust system and an upgraded disc brake system. The suspension
features a full Choppin' Block air-ride setup with dual VIAIR
compressors, Slam Specialties airbags, a four-link rear and tubular
front control arms for a smooth, adjustable ride. Finished in
freshly applied deep black paint covered in five coats of glamour
clear, then cut and buffed to a mirror finish, the exterior
showcases fully polished and refinished brightwork and the
Continental's signature rear suicide doors. It rides on
custom-built 22-inch Raceline Billet wheels that fill the arches
perfectly. Inside, the custom red Ultraleather interior features
diamond-stitched bucket seats and door panels, a custom center
console with cup holders and a custom-wrapped and painted dash
highlighted by Dakota Digital gauges. A killer custom sound system
provides ample output with six sets of mids and highs and two
10-inch ported subwoofers, all controlled via Bluetooth. An onboard
battery tender helps keep the car ready to go.
