exterior color is an uncommon offering. The interior remains all
original, featuring a VDM leather-wrapped steering wheel, VDO
instrumentation, and a Sony XR-5550 AM/FM radio. Staggered 6" and
7" Fuch 16" alloy wheels are mounted to Continental ExtremeContact

The earliest service documentation on file dates to January 15,
1991, when Alpina Car Center in Napa, California, serviced the 911
at 6,745 miles to check the charging system and replace the voltage
regulator. HiTec Automotive in San Rafael, California, performed
the first 15,000-mile service. In 1992, the 911 was purchased by
the third owner from Oregon, and the 911 continued to be maintained
by local Porsche specialists. By 2025, the 911 was offered to
European Collectibles and received a thorough in-house service. The
air conditioning system was serviced and converted to R134.
Additional work included replacing the front wheel bearings, the
brake hoses, the front and rear brake pads, the front and rear
rotors, and flushing the brake fluid. A new black German soft top
and headliner were installed.
Powered by a 3.2-liter flat six, paired with the highly regarded
G50 five-speed manual gearbox introduced to the Carrera range in
the later 3.2 cars. This drivetrain combination is known for its
strong, usable power delivery and more refined shifting, making the
1987 Carrera particularly rewarding to drive. Accompanied by a full
tonneau cover, owner's manual, and 34 years of service history.
This Diamond Blue Metallic Cabriolet is a rare original example of
Porsche's classic G50 air-cooled open cabriolet.
