For Sale at Auction: 1949 Ford F4 in Scottsdale, Arizona
The 1949 Ford F-4 stake-bed truck is powered by an overhauled
flathead V8 engine updated to run on unleaded fuel and paired with
a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission, complemented by an added
steering stabilizer. Additional updates include new wheels matching
the refinished paint. The exterior features fresh paint, running
boards coated with spray-in bed liner and a fully rebuilt stake
bed. All flatbed wood, including the side boards, has been replaced
with Larch pine treated using the Shou Sugi Ban wood-burning
technique to enhance the grain and stained in Sedona Red. The
interior is restored with a new headliner, new interior panels, a
newly covered seat, new window cranks and internal mechanisms, new
gauges, new door handles and new wipers.
