The 1987 Mercedes-Benz 240GD Wolf is powered by a diesel engine
mated to a manual transmission with full-time four-wheel drive and
retains its factory front and rear locking differentials. Adrenalin
Industries performed a complete nut-and-bolt restoration that
included full disassembly and rebuilding of the engine-related
systems, transmission, transfer case and differential assemblies,
with all seals, bearings and wear components replaced or serviced.
The chassis and suspension components were restored, and the
ladder-type frame and military-spec mechanical layout were retained
while all hardware, mounts and structural elements were refinished
or replaced. The braking system was fully addressed within the
restoration, with components inspected, rebuilt or replaced to meet
functional factory specifications. Exterior body panels and
hardware were restored and reassembled to original Wolf
configuration as part of Adrenalin Industries' comprehensive
refinishing process. The interior features diamond-stitched
upholstery applied during the rebuild while maintaining the
original seat structure, controls and instrumentation
configuration. This restoration by Adrenalin Industries results in
a structurally and mechanically renewed platform consistent with
the Wolf's intended operational characteristics, including its
factory-rated top speed of 71 mph.
