For Sale at Auction: 1970 Dodge Challenger in Scottsdale, Arizona

This custom 1970 Dodge Challenger was built by The Roadster Shop, winning the 2009 Trendsetter of the Year Award. It was called "The Coolest '70 Challenger Ever" by Popular Hot Rodding magazine after it was selected as a top five finalist for the 2010 Street Machine of the Year. This is a complete one-off build, with extensive body modifications to transform it into a modern, smoothed performance machine. The bumpers have been sectioned and flushed to the body with custom front and rear spoilers and rear lower valance with one-off center exhaust. BMW halo headlights and a custom grille add to the clean, modern look. The custom glass hood with air intake feeds the stack 528ci aluminum HEMI that puts out over 800hp, which is backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. It is also equipped with custom tubular front K-member and coilover suspension with power rack & pinion steering. Additionally, this Challenger features a custom independent rear suspension with coilover shocks and inboard disc brakes. The one-off Budnik wheels are wrapped in Pirelli rubber. The new custom interior features four bucket seats covered in French-seamed black leather with black Alcantara inserts. The custom center console houses the drilled shifter and engine start button, as well as controls for the power windows. The dash has a custom gauge surround filled with computerized AutoMeter gauges. The interior is completed with an Alpine and Rockford Fosgate stereo and Vintage Air climate control. It is finished in custom PPG paint with hand-airbrushed 528 HEMI graphics and a matte alloy hood.
