Featuring super nice orange patina paint with a gloss clearcoat
finish and rocking a set of sharp staggered wheels that position
massive 24-inchers in back, this 1967 Chevrolet C10 Restomod is a
distinctively high-impact take on one of the most coveted classic
pickups ever to roll off the line. The combination of that
skillfully applied paint job, nearly radiating under the lights,
combined with an aggressively lowered stance, an assembly of
chrome, and those standout wheels is an absolute attention-getter.
Come up closer, and you'll likely appreciate the fit and finish of
this C10 as well, and when you peer inside the window, you'll no
doubt be impressed by what you see.
Yep, the accompanying custom interior is a showstopper. It was
designed and installed by PG Auto Upholstery out of Haltom City,
Texas, and the craftsmanship that went into this project will
become evident right away. This is an outstanding driving
environment that's distinctive enough to stand out in any car show,
and yet it's thoroughly tasteful at the same time. Front and center
is a very nicely contoured bench seat covered in saddle brown
vinyl, sporting black plaid inserts that tie in perfectly with the
door panels to each side. A Chevrolet steering wheel sits on a
tilting column, and the instrument panel in front of it retains its
factory configuration but now features upgraded gauges to keep tabs
on motoring functions. An aftermarket climate control system was
seamlessly blended into the mix and even uses the factory controls,
and a Kenwood AM/FM touchscreen-operated stereo with Bluetooth and
wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity sits at the center of the dash
to provide plenty of audio choices.
Raise the hood and you'll see a well-maintained, orderly engine
bay, with a 5.3-liter third-generation Vortech LS LM7 engine
standing by, ready for action. Fed by electronic fuel injection,
the V8 exhales into a pair of mid-length headers that terminate in
a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, and teams with an
automatic 4-speed 4L60E transmission that equips this standout
classic with good freeway manners. Power steering makes this Chevy
a breeze to navigate, while power brakes that position discs up
front bring low-effort, fade-resistant stops.
